The SSE Riga Investment Fund is an organization consisting of active, energetic and ambitious students from the Baltic States whose interest in economics led them to the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.


Investment Fund is coordinated by the Managing Board consisting of 5 members appointed via annual elections. In the season 2010/2011 there are five Board members. The common goal set in 1997 and still uniting all the members of Investment Fund is strong willingness to create opportunities for in-depth finance learning beyond the school's regular curriculum through the application of knowledge to practice.


In order to achieve the goals of the Investment Fund, we undertake certain highly oriented activities:

• Trade and Manage the portfolio of stocks quoted on Riga, Vilnius and Tallinn Stock Exchanges.
  
• Organizing the Investment Game, an international interactive online stock market simulator.
  
• Award scholarships to the best performing SSE Riga students
  
• Arrange guest lectures to the SSE Riga students on relevant topics in Economics and Finance.
